May Day is a major holiday in Finland when people gather outside for parties and concerts. While a mass gathering was a no-no due to COVID-19, Zoan formed a partnership with the city of Helsinki and a wide range of commercial partners to move the celebration online by hosting a concert created in a virtual version of the capital.
The concert goes down in the history books as the first live-concert in the entire world to be created in virtual reality, not to mention that it was also the largest online-event in Finland.

-platform, where customised virtual concerts are created
for world-class artists. The avatar system is connected
with the Shopify payment solution.

A VIRTUAL
CONCERT FOR YOU

Virtual Events are essentially a new form of live entertainment where the playfulness of Fortnite, the sociality of TikTok and the feel of a live concert meet together. ​
Without the limitations of the physical world, artists can invite fans into their world — up until now only possible to a degree through music videos. Virtual environments make it possible to hold the virtual concert anywhere, whether in a fantasy world or a real location. In addition, interactive special effects can be added to spice up the experience.​

Currently the user interface is mobile or any screen. 

FEATURES

The virtual concert will be created with Unreal Engine 4 in a custom 3D-environment that follows beatport and the artist´s brand and visual guide lines. The concert length is 30-40 minutes and consist custom visual effects and lights that makes the show unique from any other virtual performance. Virtual concert can be embedded to any URL (beatport.com, artist site and others). Alternatively, a dedicated branded page can be created for the virtual concert.​
